Your giving helps gospel workers share the good news of Jesus Christ across London, the UK and beyond. Gospel Support and Homes Trust exists to house, resource and strengthen those proclaiming Christ - especially in churches being planted or renewed. Every gift helps make long-term gospel ministry possible.
We are grateful for all who partner with us in this work.
Why Give?
• Support men and women proclaiming Christ in local churches
• Help provide housing for gospel workers
• Resource new and existing churches
• Strengthen Christian organisations serving gospel ministry
Ways to Give
You can give during your lifetime or through a legacy in your Will.
Giving during your lifetime
Money: The simplest way to give is by standing order or one-off bank transfer. For details, or to request a Gift Aid form, email [email protected] Property: We are experienced in receiving property gifts. If you are considering donating property, please contact [email protected] or [email protected] for an initial conversation. Shares: Shares can be transferred by stock transfer form. Email [email protected] and we will guide you through the process.
Leaving a Legacy
A legacy gift is a meaningful way to support gospel work beyond your lifetime. You may wish to name the Gospel Support and Homes Trust directly as a recipient in your Will, or name the Trust in an Expression of Wishes having set aside an amount in your Will to be given to charities. (You can amend your wishes at any time without changing your Will further.)
Suggested Will wording: “I give to Gospel Support and Homes Trust, 114 Queen Victoria Street, London EC4V 4BJ, registered charity 1089919, [insert amount or proportion].”
Tax-Efficient Giving
Giving to GSHT can reduce your tax bill while increasing the impact of your gift:
• Gift Aid: For every £100 you give, GSHT can claim an additional £25 at no cost to you (if you pay enough tax).
• Higher-rate taxpayers can claim further personal tax relief through their self-assessment.
• Gifts of property or shares are exempt from Capital Gains Tax.
• Gifts to charity in your Will are exempt from Inheritance Tax, and if you leave 10% or more of your net estate to charity, the remainder is taxed at the reduced rate of 36%.
